From May 25, 2018 will apply the new General Data Protection Regulation – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 which establishes rules on the protection, processing and free movement of personal data of natural persons, and which applies directly to all entities handling such data in any Member State of the European Union, in particular Portugal.

The purpose of this communication is to introduce you to the new rules applicable to the processing of personal data, the rights that you have, as well as inform you of how you can manage, directly and simply, the respective consents.

To the extent and for the purposes of the services we provide you, Professional Surf Coaching, as long as it determines the processing means and the purposes, is the entity responsible for processing your personal data and for ensuring the protection of your privacy, acting in accordance with the law and the new Regulation.

Our records includes data that was obtained during your contractual relationship established with us and following the various interactions with Professional Surf Coaching.

If you want to keep your data and the information that Professional Surf Coaching has stored, you do not have to do anything.

In addition to the situations in which we treat data to comply with legal requirements, we treat your data for the following purposes:
• Provision of services - Whenever necessary, and to provide you with our services, we will process your personal data. In addition to this purpose, your data will also be processed to provide third party services, considering that you have expressly consented it.
• Marketing purposes - Your personal data, activity log, profile and/or consumption details will likewise be treated for the purposes of marketing or dissemination of offers on goods or services provided by Professional Surf Coaching, if you have authorized it. These communications are intended to inform you of news, promotions, campaigns and other opportunities that you may benefit from.

Professional Surf Coaching will only retain your personal data during the period necessary for the provision of services, respective billing and compliance with legal obligations.

Your personal data may be communicated to Professional Surf Coaching's service providers for the purpose of providing services and to judicial, tax and regulatory authorities for the purpose of complying with legal requirements.

At any time, by using the RegiBox APP, you have the right to access your personal data, as well as, within the legal terms of the contract and Regulation, to change them, oppose to their treatment, decide on the automated treatment, withdraw consent and exercise any other rights established by law (except when the data is indispensable for the provision of services by Professional Surf Coaching, therefore of mandatory provision, or for compliance with legal obligations to which Professional Surf Coaching is entitled). If you withdraw your consent, this does not compromise the lawfulness of the treatment made up to that date. You have the right to be notified, under the terms of the Regulation, if there is a violation of your personal data, and you can submit complaints to the authorities.

We guarantee all the rights enshrined in the Regulation. For this purpose, from 25-05-2018 you can access your client area quickly, conveniently and securely through this application and there perform any operation you wish: add/change/delete your personal data; add/delete a photo to your public profile; export and download your personal data; export and download your data regarding the workout history and attendance; make changes to your privacy preferences; make changes to the emails you want to receive; cancel and permanently delete your account.

We are committed to the protection and confidentiality of your personal data. We have taken the technical and organizational measures necessary to comply with the Regulation, ensuring that the processing of your personal data is lawful, fair, transparent and limited to the authorized purposes. We adopted the measures we consider appropriate to ensure the accuracy, integrity and confidentiality of your personal data as well as all other rights you may have.

I declare that I have read, understood and accept the terms of the new General Data Protection Regulation, which was provided to me by Professional Surf Coaching. I further authorize, in accordance with these terms, Professional Surf Coaching to process my personal data for the purpose of providing services, as well as for marketing purposes.

Framework

Professional Surf Coaching (PSC), NIPC 515277541, is dedicated to surf sports training with the objective of training surfers and accompanying athletes, promoting the progressive technical evolution of both, in a controlled environment that ensures the necessary safety conditions for the modality practice.

Next, the internal regulation by which the PSC is governed is presented, which aims to define the rights and duties of practitioners, the rules of operation and use of equipment.

Chapter I - General Functioning

Article 1

The PSC operates throughout the year, but reserves the right not to exercise functions in a certain period of time – with due notice

All classes/trainings require advance booking with a minimum of 16 hours in advance of the period of teaching, with the exception of athletes who have fixed training sessions weekly

PSC guarantees students of initiation the necessary material for the practice of surfing (suit, surf boardleash) in good conditions
Advanced students and competition must show up at training with their material themselves, if they do not have all the material, they must inform the responsible coach so that it can be made available.

Students and athletes are divided into 4 groups (Playful, Initiation, Formation, Pre Competition / Competition)

Playful group classes, Initiation and Formation have an approximate duration of 90 minutes, not counting the general warm-up. However, for kids under 10 years old an average duration of 60 min
Competition training and high performance have a variable duration depending on the time of sporting season in which the athletes are and depending on the training goals.

Training group athletes and Pre-Competition/Competition have complementary training with skates or in a gym, if the conditions for safety necessary for training at sea:

The competitive athletes who opt for monthly fees, have complementary training with skateboards and in gym according to the indicated training plan.
In case the security conditions necessary for those of Initiation who pay in monthly fees, the class will be rescheduled in another height.

Chapter II - Registration

Article 2

Enrollment at the school surf are done by filling in an online form and is mandatory for all students (exceptions in point 6).
Registration serves to collect of emergency contacts and payment of sports insurance
The individual entries and are valid from the time of registration until the end of the calendar year, its renewal being mandatory at the beginning of each year
As of March 1, 2023, all registrations cost €20 per student.
Registration is given as completed by complying with point 2 of this article and sending proof of payment
You are exempt from carrying out the enrollment only students who pay separate classes or who participate in summer ATL’s or other events/activities of group
T-shirt offer after registration, from March 1, 2023.

Chapter III - Payments

Article 3

All payments must be carried out before class/training/event or group activity
Payment can be made from three ways:

Monetary – in person before the start of the session
MBWAY – to the number ( 916 274 574 ) or for the number ( 918 451 796 )
Bank transfer to IBAN PT50 0036 0078 9910 0105 2830 6 BIC/SWIFT: MPIOPTPL.
